Portul Bazinul Nou SA

Bazinul Nou Harbor is the most important Romanian harbor of the Danube river, built in the second decade of the past century. The harbor is situated in a strategic important area from geographical and commercial point of view: in the South-East of Romania, next to the border with the Republic of Moldavia and Ukraine, at sea mile 79, near to the free zone of Galati.

The efficient exploitation technology, the multiple storage capacities, the advantages of operating in a free zone with a surface of 7,3 hectares, as well as the advantageous prices, are the guaranties offered by the company to its clients.

The docking activities and services performed by the harbor are: loading/unloading into/from the means of transport, the storage in warehouses and on platforms and management of the merchandise for import and export, forwarding and shipment the merchandise.

For the performance of this activity, the company offers some harbor facilities, disposing of storage facilities as well as handling equipments for lifting, transport and stowage the merchandise and two berths for moorage the ships in order to load wooden materials.

There is a custom office inside the port which allows fast operation of the ships.
